FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that retail and institutional FX broker TopFX has hired Rachelle Matta, as its new Global Head of Retention.
Rachelle Matta’s hire marks a return for her to the company where she worked in 2016-2017, as Business Development Manager. For the past five years she worked as Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer at BBAC Bank in Limassol. She also spent a number of years as a Customer Service Representative at Windsor Brokers.
TopFX has been fairly busy lately adding new talent, as it seeks to grow both the B2C (i.e., online retail brokerage) and B2B (liquidity and white label solutions for brokers) units. As was also exclusively reported here at FNG, TopFX recently hiresd tastytrade alum Muhammad Asim as Head of Global Sales, and Tickmill alum Omar Al-Janabi to head the company’s new Dubai office.
TopFX has shifted in recent years from its historical focus on its B2B business – providing liquidity and white label brokerage solutions to Retail FX brokers, based mainly on Spotware’s cTrader platform – to running and promoting its own Retail FX brand. In late 2020 TopFX launched an EU Retail FX site, after first going live with an offshore brokerage operation domiciled in the Seychelles.
