London based institutional-focused multi asset broker Equiti Capital UK Limited (Equiti UK) has announced that it has received a USD $10 million capital injection from parent Equiti Group Limited.
The company said that the USD$10 million increase in share capital will strengthen Equiti UK’s balance sheet, and support a number of strategic business expansion initiatives underway at the FCA licensed company.
There will be no change in control as a result of the new share issue, as this is a direct subscription from Equiti Group Limited, the parent company which wholly owns Equiti Capital UK.
The capital increase comes after Equiti Capital has made a number of management changes. The company recently named Nigel Holmes as Equiti Capital CEO, taking over duties from Brian Myers who moved from London to the UAE to head the group’s growing offshore Seychelles and Africa business. Equiti Capital also recently hired former ADSS UK CEO Paul Webb, as COO.
