Online broker eToro announces that it is expanding its crypto offering with the addition of two new tokens: Avalanche and Hedera Hashgraph.
- Avalanche is a smart contact platform focused on speed, security, and sustainability, and was founded by Cornell University computer science professor Emin Gün Sirer. AVAX is the native token of the Avalanche blockchain.
- Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed ledger for enterprise use that is based on Directed Acyclic Graph technology. The network is powered by native cryptoasset HBAR, and governed by a group of global corporations including Boeing, IBM, and Google.
The launch of HBAR and AVAX brings the total number of cryptoassets available on eToro to nearly 50.
Traders now have access to HBAR and AVAX alongside BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC, XRP, DASH, ETC, ADA, XLM, EOS, NEO, TRON, ZEC, BNB, XTZ, LINK, UNI, COMP, AAVE, YFI, MANA, ALGO, MATIC, BAT, MKR, ENJ, FIL, DOT, SOL, ATOM, GRT, CRV, 1INCH, SUSHI, $CHZ, QNT, AXS, CELO, SAND, FET, SNX, BNT, ZRX, DYDX, ANKR, and MIOTA.
eToro’s 2021 cryptoasset leaderboard shows that Bitcoin saw a 223% increase in the number of opened positions on the platform year on year. Bitcoin is the most opened cryptoasset by eToro users, followed by Cardano, Ether and Dogecoin.
