FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Blackwell Global COO Alexandros Kritiotis has resigned his position at the company.
The Cyprus based Mr. Kritiotis had been with Blackwell Global since 2012, and was named COO in 2016. He also served as a director at the parent FCA regulated entity, Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited.
Founded in 2012, Blackwell Global is a Retail FX and CFDs broker controlled by Taiwanese investor Chai Kaw-Sing. The company has its roots in New Zealand, and remains managed from a number of locations including London, Singapore, Taiwan, China and Cyprus. Alongside the company’s FCA regulated business it also operates an offshore Bahamas licensed entity, Blackwell Global Investments Limited.
The company’s CEO since 2015, Patrick Latchford, is based in London. In fiscal 2020 Blackwell Global UK had revenues of £5.3 million, and profit of £849,000.
